Who we are

We started Amazonian Athletics because we know what it feels like to be the underdog.

We grew up in a big family that couldn’t afford private trainers, extra camps, or anything fancy. We shared gear, drove beat-up cars to tournaments, and watched our parents stretch every dollar just so we could play. Even with two working parents, we still couldn’t cover the costs of club volleyball, so we spent hours outside of school and practice doing our own fundraising to help pay our way. We weren’t the strongest or the most “naturally gifted” athletes. But we had heart. We had mentors who believed in us. And we fell in love with the process of getting better.

That mindset changed everything.
Because of our discipline, hard work, and love for the process, we earned college volleyball scholarships, and one of us continues to play professionally around the world.

We’re not here because things came easy for us.
We’re here because we worked for it. And we know athletes today deserve coaches who can understand and empathize with the ups and downs of that journey.

At Amazonian Athletics, we help athletes train like pros, with pros — learning not just the skills and strength they need, but the mindset, resilience, and belief that they can achieve things they never thought possible. We know what it takes to make a team, fight for a roster spot, earn a scholarship, and keep climbing. And we’re here to guide them through it with compassion, expertise, and purpose.

Because strong athletes become strong people, and strong people change not only their own lives but the lives of those around them.
