Who we are
We’re Whitney and Alyssa—sisters, athletes, and coaches who are passionate about helping young people grow through sports. We have always believed in the power of sports to shape strong, confident people.
Whitney played Division I volleyball at BYU, where she earned honors like Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, All-Southwest Region First Team, and All-Big 12 Conference First Team. She now plays professionally overseas and is a Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition Coach, and Performance Enhancement Specialist with over 6 years of coaching experience.
Whitney is passionate about helping young athletes discover and develop their personal strengths on the court and in the gym. Her coaching style focuses on building self-belief and confidence, encouraging athletes to stay focused on their own progress, and fostering a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning. She believes every athlete has something unique to offer—and she’s here to help them unlock it.
Alyssa played college volleyball at the University of Providence (formerly the University of Great Falls) in Montana, where she earned All-American honors and competed at a high level throughout her university career. She brings a strong presence, sharp instincts, and a deep love for developing young athletes.
Alyssa’s specialty is in strength and conditioning. With years of high-level lifting experience, Alyssa focuses on building power, confidence, and proper technique in young athletes. She’s passionate about helping athletes—especially beginners—feel strong, capable, and confident in the gym.
We started Amazonian Athletics to create a positive, empowering space for young athletes to build both physical and mental strength. Whether it’s on the court or in the gym, we want every athlete we work with to feel strong, seen, and supported.
